Enzo Lombardi and Susy Dan from Belluno, Italy, had the privilege of visiting this enchanting kingdom twice—first in October 2018 and again in April 2024. Each journey offered them a unique and profound experience, deepening their understanding of Bhutanese culture, spirituality, and traditions.
Their first visit was an exciting introduction to Bhutan’s most famous and spectacular sites, from majestic monasteries to small rural villages. Traveling on foot through hidden paths, they immersed themselves in the breathtaking landscapes and authentic local life. This trip was an unforgettable adventure, revealing the beauty and richness of Bhutan’s heritage.

Their second journey in April 2024 was a different kind of exploration—one that delved into the spiritual essence of Bhutan. They visited agricultural communities, walked through flowering rhododendron forests, and wandered among rice fields being sown.
