Itinerary

Thimphu Valley (7,600ft)
Day 1

Arrive Paro & Drive Thimphu- 1hr. Activity Options; Acclimitisation Hike from Kuenselphodrang-Changangkha- 2 ½ hrs gentle. Late afternoon visit Memorial Stupa, Tashichho Dzong.

Thimphu Exploration
Day 2

Pumola-Phajoding Loop Hike-6-7hrs, check out local stores/Night life

Punakha Valley (1,300m)
Day 3

Activity Options; Tashigang-Lungchutse Trail (approx 4hrs), Thinleygang-Laptsakha- Punakha Dzong viewpoint (approx 6hrs)

Day 4

Jiligang Ridgeline Hike (approx 5hrs), Punakha Dzong, Khamsum Yulley Hike (2hrs return), River rafting.

Towards Gangtey valley (3,000m)
Day 5

Activity Options; Samtengang - Sha Razawa ancient Trail (approx 6-7hrs)

Day 6

Gangtey Monastery, Nature Trail Hike (1hr easy), 180 valley hike on farm road (4-5hrs), Crane Centre, Hot-stone bath, meditation session.

Bumthang Valley (2,680m)
Day 7

Activity Options; Reverse Longtey Hike (3-4hrs), Royal Heritage Museum, Trongsa Dzong, Chumey Nature Resort.

Day 8

Tharpaling – Lamai Gonpa Trail (4-5hrs), session with a Buddhist master, Picnic Lunch, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Swiss Beer Factory.

Tang valley excursion (2,800m)
Day 9

Mebartsho, Pemacholing Nunnery, Ogyencholing Museum, Bushman Trail Hike (3-4hrs).

Paro
Day 10

Mountain flight to Paro (35mins), Paro Dzong, National Museum of Bhutan, Paro town.

Bumdra Trek
Day 11

Trek from Sangchokhor Monastery to Bumdra (4-5hrs), Sky Burial.

Trek to Taktsang
Day 12

Bumdra- Taktsang-Base (6-7hrs), Hot stone bath, spa/massage.

Depart Bhutan
Day 13

Cancellation Policy

For a trip booked and subsequently cancelled, the following applies:

More than 60 days before start of travel program, USD 200 flat rate/per person + Advance payments made to hotels (if any) + Transfer charges
Between 60 – 10 days: 45% of the package cost retain
Less than 10 Days, 100% payment will be retained

For air tickets issued and subsequently cancelled, the following apply.

75% refund permitted for tickets cancelled more than 30 days from the date of travel.
50% refund permitted for tickets cancelled between 30 – last 10 days from the date of travel.
25% refund permitted for tickets cancelled prior to 04 (four) days from the date of travel.
No refund for tickets cancelled within 4 days of travel date.

For air tickets issued and subsequently rescheduled, the following applies:

USD 40 rescheduling fee or equivalent local currency for every flight reschedule less than 72 hours prior to date of travel. No charges for business class passengers
