Snowman Trek

28 Days

Overview

The Bhutan Snowman Trek is not just a journey through the majestic Himalayas; it’s an adventure that captures the heart and spirit of those who embark on it. Imagine crossing 11 high passes, each rising above 4,500 meters, as you make your way to the breathtakingly isolated region of Lunana. Here, every step reveals a new layer of beauty—snow-capped peaks tower majestically overhead, while hidden valleys wait to be discovered. This trek invites explorers to traverse unnamed glaciers and gaze into crystal-clear high-altitude lakes that reflect the stunning landscape around them. As you explore places like Paro, where the famous Takstang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) clings precariously to cliffs, you’ll find yourself immersed in both nature and history. The extra days spent in Lunana offer opportunities for exploratory day walks, allowing trekkers to savor moments of quiet solitude amid nature’s grandeur. With each new vista, you’ll feel a deeper connection with the land and its people, making the Bhutan Snowman Trek not merely an outdoor challenge but a soulful experience. It’s a chance to reflect, connect with the environment, and create lasting memories in one of the world’s most enchanting settings.
