Trip Highlights

  • We will consult an astrologer to select an auspicious date and time for the ceremony. Typically, the ceremony is held in the morning and involves 10-15 Buddhist monks presided by a Rinpoche.
  • The bride and groom will wear traditional attire and exchange wedding vows, pledging to dedicate themselves to each other in body, mind, and speech, and to support one another through all circumstances—whether in health or sickness, wealth or poverty.
  • The ceremony will include a purification ritual called Thrisor (cleansing ceremony), followed by the Tsepamed ritual, invoking the God of Longevity to bless the couple with a long, happy marriage. The ceremony will also feature fertility blessings, culminating in the exchange of rings.
  • We can arrange for the Bhutanese Wedding Vows to take place in an exclusive temple, followed by celebrations in a setting that suits your style—whether in a traditional homestay or a luxury 5-star hotel, offering an authentic experience in an ideal location.
  • After the ceremony, the honeymoon couple can enjoy leisurely time immersing themselves in the rich culture and spirituality of Bhutan.
